Open Source

Open source software is software that has been developed in community. The term "Open Source" mean that anyone can see the code that was used to make the software. If they want they are free to improve it by changing the code and adding to it.

Open source software is nearly always free. Open Source software exists to do most of the tasks you will every want to do with a computer. Wherever possible Deep Wide Media uses open source software.

We love to train others how to use it as it allows Christian groups to create: flyers, videos, 3D animation, web sites and to edit video and audio at zero cost. All they need is training. Once one person is trained in an organisation that knowledge can then spread through the organisation.
